From Phoenix: From SKY HARBOR Airport. Get onto I-10 West. Merge onto I-17 N via exit number 143A toward FLAGSTAFF. Merge onto I-40 E via exit number 340A toward WINSLOW/ ALBUQUERQUE. Take the exit toward AZ-89/ PAGE/ GRAND CANYON. Turn LEFT onto COUNTRY CLUB DR/ I-40 BL. Merge onto US-89 N. Turn RIGHT onto S 100 E/ US-89/ 100 ST E. Continue to follow US-89. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto UT-12. Follow Hwy 12 into Boulder.

ALT Route: Turn RIGHT onto ROAD 400/ COTTONWOOD RD. Continue to follow ROAD 400. ROAD 400 becomes S KODACHROME DR. Turn RIGHT onto UT-12. Follow Hwy 12 into Boulder. If you have a vehicle with four wheel clearance, the Cottonwood Canyon Road can cut your travel time. Please call to see if this route is passable. It has been known to flood during the rainy season. Check with the BML ranger station in Big Water, right before the Cottonwood Canyon Road turnoff. If you wished to stay on paved roads or weather conditions are bad continue through to Kanab on US-89.
