In January 2025, Hell’s Backbone Grill & Farm was able to acquire the Boulder Mountain Lodge property. After 25 years of renting and operating as separate businesses, HBG & the Lodge are finally united under singular ownership and management. The possibilities arising from this symbiosis are endless, and we can’t wait to share our vision with you.

Mark your Calendar - 2025 Events

Boulder Community Market - Saturdays beginning May 24th into October, the Lodge will be hosting the Boulder Community Market! Our town is full of talented farmers, artisans, and musicians, so come see what the community has to offer. On the grounds of the Boulder Mountain Lodge Saturdays from 8:30 - 11:30 am.

The Tibetan Monks of Drepung Loseling Monastery will be joining us August 25-30 for 5 days of meditation, song, chanting, cooking, teachings, and blessings. We will update this schedule of public events if there are changes, so please check back, but the tentative schedule is as follows (all events located on the Lodge grounds):

  • Monday, August 25 around 5 pm - Welcome reception with traditional butter tea & desi.

  • Wednesday, August 27 at 6:30 pm - Sang-Sol Smoke & Incense Offering Puja. This is a powerful blessing to purify the environment, accumulate merit, and enhance the well-being of all in attendance. Suggested donation for their monastery of $10-$25. They will also have a delightful offering of Tibetan wares from their store.

  • Friday, August 29 at 6:30 pm - Sacred Music & Sacred Chanting event (90 min). A suggested donation of $15-$30 is encouraged for personal interdependence and to benefit the monk’s monastery. They will again set up a store with Tibetan wares.

  • Saturday, August 30 (time TBD) - The Monks will depart after breakfast at Little Bone! Join us for goodbyes and final blessings.

  • The Monks also invite anyone to join them for their morning meditations at 9 am on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.
